DESCRIPTION OF PARTNER:

Eşref Bitlis Orta Okulu is in İstanbul. It is mainly a secondary school but there are some preschool and primary school students too.But  after one or two years  it will only be a secondary school .It is a public school. There are 45 classrooms,1605 students aged between 5 to 15,65 teachers, a library, 2 computer rooms fully equipped ,one science laboratory, one visual arts class and a very big closed sport center. As in all schools, our school also has very different kinds of students both for their success and their families.Some are very clever, hardworking, honest students .They have very good families.Their families are interested in their schools and lessons very much.but some are lazy,careless  students.Their families are illiterate.They don't know anything but they see themselves as if they know everything but there aren't any bad events, crimes in our school.everything is under control. we teach english ,maths,geography, physical education, music,visual arts,turkish,social sciences,religious education.There are mostly young teachers in our school.we have a head master and four deputy directors.we also have some but not many mentally disabled students and they are integrated in regular classes.we also have some divorced and unemployed parents.In Turkey 12 years education is compulsory so they cant leave school before being graduated.As economical aspects some but minority of our students are very rich.Their parents say that they can send their children to private schools but they chose our school because it is near their house but the majority of them are not rich.As I mentiond before their parents are illiterate  and they have at least 3 children so they can't provide much opportunities for their children.our lessons start at 7.30 a.m. and finish at 13.00 pm. for secondary school students and the afternoon classes I mean primary school students their lessons start at 12.40 and finish at17.30.we also have a school canteen.students get  food from there.
