 ''Virgil Madgearu Economic College'' is a public school from Ploiesti, one of the city of Romania, town situated at 60 km away from Bucharest, the capital of the country.The high scool consists of 1400 pupils and 73 teachers. The pupils learn English, French and German foreign languages.We have 20 classrooms, the schedule of the  students is organized in 3 shifts. We have two computers rooms full equiped,and some classrooms equiped for different specialities that are studied in our school. So, the specialities for the pupils are from economic level like: trade, tourism, economic activity technician, technician in procurement and contracting, tourism and food, technician in cookery, banqueting organizer butmathematics-informatics too.The age of the students are between 14-19 years old at the high school, and more than 18 years old in the post high school, with specialities like:customs agent , technician in secretarial, technician nutritionist, nurse management, travel agent, guide . Our students are from different type of families, with many situations, we can meet parents that take care together from their son or daugher, divorced, or separated parents, dead parents, some families that left the pupils with the grandparents or alone, and they work abroad, families with low income or without income.The pupils are involved in artistic activities too, we have a group of national dances, a group of theatre, and a choir.The pupils wear uniform, they have security benefits when they are in school.
